Mark Reinheimer
Workshop Leader
Mark has been playing world percussion & drums since 1996. He was a member of a drum and dance troupe for 3 years and drummed for a weekly bellydance class for 4 years. He has also performed at Stanford University for an African dance troupe and a modern dance ensemble.
Mark has studied with a variety of teachers from many different world rhythmic cultures such as Babatunde Olatuni, Mamady Keita, Arthur Hull, Mary Ellen Donald, Mestre Beicola, to name a few. Mark will teach Bell/Clave/Shakers 101 at Phoenix Fire this year. He has taught at Phoenix Fire the last two years, so he is already experienced in the fine art of teaching the sleep deprived.
